Canning of songs is in progress for 'Athidi' directed by Surender Reddy and produced by G Ramesh Babu on the banner of Krishna Productions with Prince Mahesh Babu and Bollywood glamour doll Amritha Rao in the lead.

Manisharma is scoring music for this flick.

The shooting is presently in progress at Shankarpally. A song is being choreographed for 'Athidi' under the direction of Raju Sundaram on hero Maheshbabu, heroine Amritha Rao and some other dancers.

Producer Ramesh Babu is making efforts to release the audio in September and release the film in October as Dasara gift. What the hero did by joining a family, as a 'guest' (athidi) is the basic storyline of the movie.

Though the film runs with family backdrop, the director had included all kinds of commercial elements to suit Mahesh Babu's image.
