Young hero Atharvaa was last seen on screen in the hit thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal costarring Nayanthara and Raashi Khanna, and his next movie which is ready for release happens to be Boomerang, directed by R.Kannan, who had previously made Jayamkondaan, Settai, Ivan Thanthiran to name a few.

Also starring Megha Akash, RJ Balaji and Meyaadha Maan fame Indhuja, Boomerang which deals with a social issue has Radhan scoring music and was initially announced as a December 21 release, but postponed to December 28, as 5 movies released on 21. However, the movie was again pushed to February 22, and yet again, the release of Kanne Kalaimaane and LKG meant, Boomerang was pushed to March 1.

However, now Boomerang has been pushed yet again to March 8, as 90 ML starring Oviya, which was previously scheduled to release on February 22 has joined the March 1 release race alongside Thadam, Thirumanam and Dhadha 87, and now Boomerang has been delayed further. Boomerang has Atharvaa in three different looks as per reports.
