Varma’s Telugu production Shock is moving towards completion at a very fast clip.

The film starring Ravi Teja and Jyothika in the lead is heading for a January release (most likely Sankranthi).

The film, directed by Harish, a newcomer, is said to be a masala entertainer with a difference.

With Varma himself personally giving directions, the film is expected to have an extra gloss --- a kind of finish that Telugu films are not regularly used to.

Young talents with technical spunk are in charge for the film.

Sarvesh Murari is handling the camera, music director Atul has come up with some gritty music while Bhanodaya is editing the film.

Varma’s camp says the film will be a breath of fresh air into Tollywood. ‘It won’t be runoff the mill. All the qualities will be top notch,’ they say.
