'Asuran' star roped in AK61?

Ajith Kumar's new movie 'AK 61' went on floors on grand sets erected at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad on April 11th. Producer Boney Kapoor announced the same by sharing a photo of the pooja clapboard held by himself, director H. Vinoth and cinematographer Nirav Shah.
The latest buzz about this much antici[ated movie is that actress Manju Warrier who impressed the Tamil audience with her impeccable acting in the film Asuran opposite Dhanush is roped in to play an important role in AK61.
Though the makers are yet to confit the same, many Ajith Kumar fans are wanting the actress to come on board for this film. 'AK 61' is said to be a bank heist based action-adventure film that will give an entirely different movie experience not only to Tamil audiences but Ian India. It is said that Ajith plays an ageing professor in the film and will also appear in a much younger avatar.
Ajith is also teaming up with Vignesh Shivan for a film after AK61. The project will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fourth collaboration with Ajith. Tentatively called AK62, the film will be bankrolled by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. According to Lyca Productions' official statement, the shooting of the film will commence by the end of the year and will release in mid-2023.
