ASMM is a success

Barely a week after its release, ASMM is turning out to be a good success.

Made at a modest budget and sold at reasonable price, Sangeeth Sivan directed 'Apna Sapna Money Money' has seen very impressive collections across the country with A, B as well as C centers generating good numbers.

The feat is commendable since the film came in direct competition with Sooraj Barjatya's 'Vivah' which came with a tag of a 'family film' and also boasted of consistent collections over the week. Nevertheless, if one looks at factors like overall collections and even print average, ASMM is definitely a step ahead.

All this is pretty surprising because though there have been numerous reports about 'Vivah' being a hit, much wasn't said about ASMM which has enjoyed a great outing as well.

Looking at such a response from the audience, all eyes are now set on the response that the film would generate in its second week. Even if maintains decent collections, it would be termed as a comfortable hit in 2 weeks flat!

What is also heartening is the fact that the film is being patronized by family audience too which seemed a little dicey in the beginning taking into consideration the fact that Sangeeth's last film 'Kya Kool Hai Hum' was primarily being targeted at the college going audience.

All said and done, it is a shot in the arms for actors like Ritesh Deshmukh [who finds himself in the big league now], Chunkey Pandey [who has finally got a true comeback] and Suneil Shetty [who has now found himself accepted whole heartedly in comic roles].
