With lot of success in southern industry, Asin stepped into Bollywood. She struck gold with her first Hindi movie itself and has been one of the most sought after actress ever since. However according to sources, she is facing some criticism for being haughty.

Sources indicate that popular director Priyadarshan had approached her for a role in his next flick which stars Akshay Kumar in the lead. According to reports, she made it clear to him that she will act only if her role is important. While some say this might not be healthy for her, others believe that the intelligent actress knows what she is doing.

That role has been offered to another south Indian beauty Trisha who is making her Bollywood debut with this flick.
