Life is a bundle of contradictions.

While Chiru’s Stalin was launched with unobtrusive quietness, his brother Pawan Kalyan’s Annavaram went through the muhurat routine with fanfare.

Annavaram, a remake of the Tamil hit Tirupachi, is directed by Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao.

At an eye-catching ceremony, big names like Chiranjeevi,Venkatesh, Nagendra Babu, D Ramanaidu, Suresh Babu, Shyam Prasad Reddy were at hand to launch the film at Annapurna Studios.

Sandhya is playing sister to Pawan. Interestingly, Asin will play the heroine. In the Tamil original Trisha played the lead.

There is a healthy competition between Asin and Trisha in both Tamil and Telugu.

Recently Trisha walked away with the heroine role in Stalin.

Now Asin has come back strongly with Annavaram.

Asin was last seen in a Telugu original through Gharshana.
