Following Thirupachi, Vijay and director Perarasu are teaming up once again for a movie titled Sivakasi.
Being produced by A M Rathnam of Sri Surya Movies, the movie would star Asin opposite Vijay. The duo teams up for he first time
Though the director was keen to cast Trisha as the heroine, she could not accommodate the dates for she has been already signed to act opposite Surya in a movie to be directed by Hari.
For the petite Asin, this is indeed a major break.
She slowly seems to be coming to her own in Kollywood.
The film M Kumaran was a major turning point her career. Playing the cute little Mallu girl in the film, she quickly won over the fans' hearts.
Her vivacity and a conquering smile has endeared her to the Tamil audience.
