Asin is one leading lady the Tamil audiences will never forget especially for her impactful performance as the innocent loud mouth Kalpana in 2005 blockbuster hit 'Ghajini' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Suriya in the lead. Her other films are also memorable including 'Kavalan' and 'Pokkiri' with Vijay, 'Varalaru' with Ajith, 'Dasavatharam' with Kamal, and 'M. Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi' and 'Ullam Ketkume'.

Asin fell in love with Rahul Sharma the owner of Micromax and got married in 2016. The couple have a daughter Arin Rayn born in 2017. The cute little girl celebrated her third birthday on October 27th which her parents made into a grand and memorable one for her.
