Asif gets the brickbat for his Mecca of Cricket comment

Asif Ali is slowly building back his career with a few interesting roles. His role in 'You Too Brutus' found much appreciation. His upcoming release 'Adventures of Omanakuttan' in which he stars opposite Bhavana has upped the expectations. The actor had recently posted a picture of him at the Lords cricket stadium with a caption "The Mecca of Cricket - Lords".

A few very fanatic responses have been trailing this comment, with some arguing how dare he compare the holy mecca with a cricketing stadium, little realizing that it is a moniker that is officially used concerning the Lords. And poor Asif has been at the receiving end of such foolery.
