Actor Asif Ali's ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ was slated to hit the big screens on July 2. But as theatres remain shut due to the pandemic, the makers had to push postpone the release. Now, the latest is that the team is eyeing a direct OTT release. Reportedly, Netflix has bagged the streaming rights of the movie for a huge sum. As an Onam treat for the audience, the team is planning to unveil the movie's trailer.
‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ stars Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Senthil Krishna in the lead roles. Directed by Rajeev Ravi, 'Kuttavum Shikshayum' is an investigation thriller based on true incidents - a jewelry robbery case the happened in Kasargod (2015). The movie has Asif Ali essaying the role of a circle inspector named Sajan Philip. Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Senthil Krishna also play cops in it. Sibi Thomas, a policeman in real life, who had also acted in ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’, has scripted ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ along with journalist Sreejith Divakaran.
