Asif Ali's Happy Birthday

We are not discussing about young actor Asif Ali's birthday, but this is about his new film titled the same. Yes, Happy Birthday by debutante director Gautham Mohan will have Janani Iyer playing the female lead. Rohini,Vijay Menon,Nandu and Prathap Pothen are also a part of the cast of the project which will be inspired by the 1993 Hollywood flick 'Groundhog Day'.Rohith Panicker is writing the story while the dialogues are by Rajeev.M.Philip.

Happy Birthday is planed as a fantasy film with elements of romance, comedy, drama and a bit of horror. Here a young man finds himself in a time loop where he lives the same day over and over again in different ways. The phenomenon occurs on his 26th birthday, which is why the film has been titled Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday' will have music by Prashanth Pillai.The shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin soon.

Meanwhile Asif's new film 'You Too Brutus' just manages itself in release centres, with average collections.
