Actor Asif Ali's upcoming release is VKP's 'Nirnayakam'. A part of it has been shot inside the National Defense Academy, Pune. For a particular shot, a 10 ft dive into the swimming pool was required and the actor did it without any qualms. Though he was suggested to use a dupe for the stunt, Asif insisted that he do it.

Asif was required to do a straight dive with his feet touching the water first. He had to keep his balance, otherwise he would fall flat on his stomach. This was Asif's first dive ever in his life at that height, which was the highest diving board at NDA, usually used as punishment for students or to get them rid of their fears. Everything went well and Asif says he felt it was a slow motion feeling till he hit the water as he felt he was in air for a long time.
