After wrapping the shoot of his upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer flick 'Thuramukham', director Rajeev Ravi starts filming his next, 'Kuttavum Shikshayum'. Produced under the banner of Film Roll Productions, the movie went on floors on February 7. The filmmaker’s wife and director Geetu Mohandas took to her social media handle to announce the same.
Actors Asif Ali and Sunny Wayne are coming together for the flick. Touted to be a cop thriller, 'Kuttavum Shikshayum' is based on a real-life robbery incident and its crime investigation that once happened in Kasaragod. Asif Ali will be seen playing a police officer’s role in the film. Details regarding Sunny Wayne’s role are not yet known. Actors Alencier Ley Lopez, Sharafudheen and Senthil Krishna will also be seen in important roles.
Scripted by real-life police officer Sibi Thomas, who made his acting debut through the critically acclaimed 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum', the movie will feature Asif as a cop. ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ is based on a crime investigation that Sibi Thomas lead a few years back. The movie also has Alencier Ley Lopez, Sharafudheen and Senthil Krishna in important roles. Suresh Rajan is cranking the lens for the movie, while B Ajithkumar is in charge of the edits.
