Anandam fame Anarkali Marikar, recently announced a news on Facebook that she would be seen paired opposite Asif Ali in an upcoming movie titled Mandaram. “I’ve always wanted to meet this person and tell him I love him a lot. And now I get to act with him as his heroine. Yeah!!! Asif Ali!!! I’m so happy and excited to announce my 4th film MANDARAM directed Vijesh Vijay. This is 5th day of shoot in Vagamon and I’m hoping for the best,” posted the excited actress. 

Debutant Vijesh Vijay is directing Mandaram. The movie has Asif Ali appear in five different get-ups. The buzz is that the movie which has a strong romance angle shows Asif's character over a span of 25 years. Mandaram will also have Jacob Gregory, Arjun Asokan and Bhagath Manuel in significant roles. The shoot of the movie, which is on, has moved to Wagamon.
