Season two of 'Cooku with Comali' has one of the greatest TRP ratings in Tamil television history. The show's cooks and jokers have become extremely popular, and some who were previously unknown have become world-famous and are gaining a foothold in the film industry too.
Ashwin and Sivaangi's partnership in 'Cooku With Comali' worked so well that many fans who adored both gave them the combined name of, "Ashaangi", While they are both great friends, a YouTube channel went too far by posting a marriage video to suggest that the duo had married. There was an outrage by fans on social media who condemned the video and now both, Ashwin and Sivaangi have posted appropriate clarifications to put a full stop to the issue.
"There are some morphed videos in edits going around and this is to clarify that they are completely false and utter rubbish trying to defame me, I am very much single and I am not in a relationship with any rumoured co-star. At this juncture, I thank my fans who are my strong pillars of support for their continuous support. I humbly request you to support me professionally and not involve in any shipping edits/morphed acts. They harm the precious personal life of any individual. I am at the beginning of my career and my current focus is work and work only. Hope you understand, thank you. As always, love you all and forever indebted to your unconditional support."
Sivaangi for her part has posted "Many morphed pictures of me and my star friends are going viral, which is not at all true. A humble request to not to share those and spread false information. Thank you for the love and support."
Its highly condemnable that the young and upcoming celebrities who are working hard to make a name for themselves being targeted in this manner and fans are pressing on social media for the authorities to take severe action.
