Gautham Menon is juggling multiple projects currently with his 'Dhruva Natchathiram' starring Vikram nearing completion and so is 'Joshua Imaipol Kaaka' starring Varun. The class director is also very much into the web series space and has completed an anthology film based on honor killing with Sudha Kongara, Vetrimaaran and Vignesh Shivan also directing other episodes.

There were reports in the media that Ashwin Kakumanu is playing the lead role in the episode directed by Gautham Menon. Ashwin has denied the news and has clarified "Wanted to say that while I look forward to the opportunity of working with Gautham Menon again, I am not part of his anthology for Netflix India . I think it was confused with my role in the Telugu anthology for #Netflix. Hope this clarifies things."

Ashwin Kakumanu made his debut in Gautham Menon's 2011 film 'Nadunisi Naigal' in which he played the role of Sameera Reddy's boyfriend Arjun. After that he went on to make his mark in films such as Thala Ajith's 'Mankatha' , Vijay Sethupathi's 'Idharku Thaaney Aasai Pattai Balakumara' Suriya's '7 aam Arivu' and many other films as hero. He is currently playing an important character in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' starring Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha and Aishwarya Lekshmi.
