Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin lead Indian cricket team to a victory by 317 runs in the second test of the ongoing England’s tour of India, held at Chepauk. The off spinner delivered an all round performance.
Ashwin went on to take five wickets in the first innings of the test and scored a match winning century in the second innings besides also taking three wickets in England’s second innings. Ashwin was awarded the man of the match for his performance.
After the match, Ashwin has posted a heartfelt tweet that read “I can’t express how I feel right now, but I am so very grateful to each and everyone who has wished me over the last few days. I would also like to thank the #KnowledgableChennaiCrowd for turning up in numbers and making me feel like a hero. ??????”.
