Ashwin as Lakshmi Menon's pair in Ajith's next?

Ashwin Kakamanu, who shared the screen space with Ajith in 'Mankatha', is working with the 'thala' again, this time for his 56th film being helmed by Siruthai Siva.

A thrilled Ashwin says, "I was excited when Siva sir approached me for the role. It is a delight to work with the thala again."

While the buzz is that Ashwin is playing Lakshmi Menon's (Ajith's sister in the movie) love interest, the actor is not ready to confirm this.

"I am not supposed to reveal anything at this point of time. All that I can say is I am part of Thala-56," he says.
