The ace filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is gearing up for his next much-awaited project ‘Panipat’. The shooting of the film that features Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles is expected to kickstart on November this year. The director took to his Twitter handle and cleared all the rumors that was surrounding the film.

Being one of the most important battles in India, ‘Panipat’ is going to be the story of what led to the Third Battle of Panipat. It was fought between the northern expeditionary force of the Maratha Empire and invading forces of the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. Produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar, the film is slated to hit the screens on December 6, 2019.

Meanwhile Arjun Kapoor will be seen in ‘Namaste England’ and ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ opposite to Parineeti Chopra. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt will be next seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’ which also features Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Varun Dhawan.
