Ashok Selvan & Shanthnu team up for Pa Ranjith's new sports movie! - Exciting deets

Ashok Selvan and Shanthnu, the young talents of Tamil cinema, are joining hands for a new film co-produced by Pa Ranjith. Directed by S Jayakumar, the cricket-based sports movie is titled 'Blue Star'. The makers launched the first look poster and a theme video song today.
The first-look poster shows Ashok Selvan and Shanthnu leading two county cricket teams for a face-off. Govind Vasantha has composed music for the film. The 'Blue Star Anthem' is a super stylish rap theme song with lyrics by Uma Devi & Arivu. The video shows Ashok Selvan and Shanthnu as young county cricket players from the Chennai suburbs.
The movie also stars Keerthi Pandian, Prithvirajan, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Lizzie Antony, Divya Duraisamy, Arun Balaji, Balaji, Raghav, Shajji and others. Jointly produced by Neelam Productions and Lemon Leaf Creation, it has cinematography by Thamizh A Azhagan, editing by Selva RK and stunts by Stunner Sam.
