Suriya recommends 'Kootathil Oruthan' for everyone

After the critically acclaimed super hit Joker` and the mega budget horror flick Kaashmora`, the next venture of the ambitious Dream Warrior Pictures production banner is Kootathil Oruthan` directed by Gnanavel, a former journalist.
The film`s music score has been rendered by Nivas K.Prasanna of Thegidi` and Sethupathy` fame. The music album of the film was launched in a star studded event held in Chennai today (November 29).
Suriya, one of the top league stars of Kollywood and his father and veteran actor Sivakumar are prominent among the celebrity guests who graced the event. Directors Raju Murugan, Dharani, Radha Mohan and leading young comedians RJ Balaji and Bala Saravanan are the other celebrities who took part in the function.
Ashok Selvan, the lead hero of Kootathil Oruthan`, cinematographer Pramodh, Editor Leon John were present throughout with fingers crossed.
Gnanavel has worked as a journalist in a popular Tamil weekly for many years. He has also played a vital part in Suriya`s Agaram Foundation which has been providing Education to many children and also involved in various social service activities.
Speaking at the event Suriya said "Gnanavel is the one who gave the name Agaram for our organization. He is also the main reason for Agaram`s success and reach. Only because of him I have achieved a good name in this society apart from being an actor. I have watched Kootathil Oruvan`; it is fantastic. It will induce the viewer to think. I have been watching Ashok Selvan from his childhood. He has done very well in the film. Nivas Prasanna`s music will be a big plus for the film."
Referring to the live performance of songs by Nivas in the event, Suriya said, "It is one of the best live shows I have watched in recent times."
Director Gnanavel said the film will be the story of Middle-benchers`. "Many people who have made huge achievements in the world have been middle-benchers in the past. But we never care about middle-benchers. This film will deal with this irony."
