Actress Asha Sharath who will be reprising the role of the IPS officer named Geetha Prabhakar in ‘Drishyam 2’, has recently shared a few pictures from the sets of the movie. Sharing the pictures, the excited actress wrote, “With the man behind Drishyam @jeethu4ever… After 7 years Geetha Prabhakar IPS is back and I am super excited!!!”

Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 2 is one of the most awaited movies in Mollywood. The movie which is a sequel to the 2013 blockbuster 'Drishyam' has Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba and Esther Anil in the lead roles. Asha Sharath is playing Geetha Prabhakar, the police officer, and mother of Varun, who was murdered in the prequel.

Well, movie buffs are excited to know what happens to Georgekutty and his family after where the prequel ended.

The sequel will also have actors Sai Kumar, Ganesh Kumar, and Murali Gopi essaying some pivotal roles in the movie. Unlike the prequel, Drishyam 2 is said to be focusing more on family drama rather than the mystery part. The movie is currently in the post-production phase and is expected to have a big release soon.
