When it came to putting together 'Action Replayy', film maker Vipul Shah knew from the very beginning that he would present Aishwarya Rai differently. In the film, while one does see Ash in a way she looks best (what with her demeanour being kept intact in those beautiful traditional outfits), credit must also go to Vipul who went ahead and made her wear Western attire that went with the retro mood of the 70s.

"When I briefed Ash about the character that she had to play in the film, she was herself quite happy about doing something light hearted and fun. Fortunately for me, I too didn't go to her with a dramatic role. Today when reactions are already coming in, especially for her dances and the attire that she is donning, I am glad that the decision turned out to be right after all", smiles Vipul.

The filmmaker could well be right here. After all whether it is 'Zor Ka Jhatka', 'Bekhabar' or 'Chaan Ke Mohalla', it is a ravishing Ash who has managed to catch attention from all quarters.

"I am happy that whether it is Ash or Akshay, I have managed to present them both differently in the film", continues Vipul.

Also starring Neha Dhupia, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Kirron Kher and Om Puri, 'Action Replayy' is eyeing a major release this Diwali (5th Nov).
