At a function in Mangaluru the motion poster of Kannada film ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ was released by JR Lobo, sitting MLA at Sandesha Kala Kendra Academy recently. Former Minister Amaranath Shetty, former Tulu Sahitya Academy President Umanath Kotian, the surprise hero of the year 2017 Raj B Shetty of Ondu Motteya Kathe, Sandesha Kala Kendra director Fr Victor Vijay Lobo and Sandesha Kala Kendra assistant director Br Victor Crasta were present.

Addressing the gathering JR Lobo hoped that Mangaluru becomes a cinema town in near future and wished good luck to the director of the film Rajesh Venus and team to succeed in the box office.

Director of the film Rajesh Venur said local talent has been roped in for this film and that is the reason to conduct the event in Mangaluru. The film is about IQ Vs EQ (intelligent quotient and Emotional Quotient). The coastal region is also shooting spot for this film. Wahab Salim composed five songs that includes a promotional song, Dinakar penned dialogues for this family entertainer and hope to hit the silver screen in February he says.

Radhika Chethan, Laasya and Kiran Raj are playing the lead roles. Deepak Shetty and child artist Chitrali will be seen in pivotal roles.

Producer Ashwin J Pereira said the film ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ is something different from what we see in films of today. One portion of revenue generated from this film would be donated to a school in Moodabidiri he stated.

Child actor Chitrali and actress Lasya also addressed the gathering on the role they have performed.
