Self styled Godman Asaram Bapu has been announced guilty in court’s verdict today for raping a minor girl. Seems like Asaram has not only gained hundreds of thousands of followers but also have amassed atronomical wealth- amounting to a whopping Rs.10,000 crores(and might be above per reports). All in a timespan of just four decades.
Need to be startled a little bit more? The calculated amount is excluding the vast land that the 77 year old man owns. The shocking details were discovered from documents seized from his Motera ashram following his arrest in 2013. It is also worth mentioning here that Asaram who began his journey from the banks of Sabarmati river in a humble hut now has over 400 ashrams across the country as well as the world.
