Finally, the ball will get rolling for Ajith’s next. Titled ‘Asal’, the film comes with a tagline, the power of silence.

Despite the silence, we do an itsy bitsy news for you about the films finalized crew. Director Saran’s longtime chum and associate, music director Bharadwaj, will join him and Ajith for Asal. This is the trio’s fourth film after ‘Kadhal Mannan’, ‘Amarkalam’ and ‘Attagaasam’. This is also a landmark film for Bharadwaj as his 50th movie. But for this album, he will also collaborate with the Scotland-based musicians, belonging to the group Y Kinz.

Interestingly, these are a group of musicians from Scotland who have been coined as Y Kinz by saran himself, and they will deliver international music with Bharadwaj, for this Ajith starrer. It may be recalled that for Ajith's previous film ‘Aegan’, Yuvan Shanar Raja had travelled abroad and learnt music from the Big Bang Group, for good jazzy tunes.

Prashanth, an assistant to Nirav Shah and Arjun Jana, will crank the camera, and Antony will trim the film. Virumandi fame Prabakar will work as art director and Kavipperarasu Vairamuthu will pen the lyrics. And popular ramp walk designer, Vivek Karunakaran, who has even done shows in the world’s fashion capital, Paris, will dress up Sexy Sameera Reddy and Ultimate Star Ajith.

And then there’s Prabhu, whose Sivaji Films will produce this film. He will also play an important role in the film, which is having its muhurat on April 8. Thala countdown starts now and there are six days to do.
