As 'Arjun Reddy' turns 1, Deverakonda has a message

It was this day last year that 'Arjun Reddy' hit the screens amid high expectations. Its trailer had made the film's success a fait accompli. So many were convinced, much before seeing its actual content, that the film would be a hit. Even the makers said before the theatrical release that they had made a cult, intense romance. And it was a cult hit, no less.
On the first anniversary of the film, Vijay Deverakonda says, "1 year! Until next time me and @imvangasandeep meet, you'll have to make do with this." Attaching a pic on Twitter, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor says, "P.S. This was the first picture we took."
There are rumours that VD and 'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Vanga will team up again. But this is a far cry and is not going to happen anytime soon. Currently, Sandeep is remaking the Hindi-language version of 'AR' with Shahid Kapoor as the hero. It will head to theatres only on June 21, 2019. Until then, let's make do with the massively free-spirited 'Arjun Reddy'.
