On his birthday today, Arya took part in the massive cleaning operations organised by the Nadigar Sangam in Chennai. A team of Nadigar Sangam that included Arya, Vishal, Karthi, Varalakshmi and J.K.Ritheesh took the broom sticks and other cleaning equipments to clear garbage strewn on the roads after severe rains and resultant floods lashed out the city last week.

Restoring the cleanliness has become the top priority now as sewage and garbage accumulated in public places has started posing severe health hazards for people at this time of inclement weather. So many volunteers have been involving themselves in cleaning and conservancy operations apart from the Government employed sanitary workers. The Nadigar Sangam, which has been coordinating relief materials has prioritized restoring cleanliness in the city ravaged by rain.
