The pooja of Arya's new movie titled 'Maga Muni' was held today with much fanfare.  The film produced by K.E. Gnanavelraja is directed by Santhakumar who is known for the pathbreaking 'Mouna Guru' starring Arulnithi and Iniya.

'Maga Muni' has Indhuja and Mahima Nambiar as the two leading ladies while music score is by Thaman, cinematography by Arun Padmanabhan and editing by V.J. Sabu Joseph. Arya has gushed "Really excited for this one 'Maga Muni' can’t wait to work with director Santhakumar and my darling Thaman's music. Thank you K.E. Gnanavelraja bro"

Director Santhakumar has stated " "Magamuni' will belong to the crime thriller genre.The film's screenplay has been written in such a way that it will garner the attention of all kinds of audiences. We plan to shoot the film in Chennai, Kancheepuram and Erode districts"
