Actor Arya's first release of the year will be the ambitious project 'Kadamban' scheduled to hit the screens on April 14, 2017. The film has been directed by Raghava of 'Manaja Pai' fame while it has been produced by Super Good Films of RB Choudhary and The Show People of Arya.

Arya sports a macho look for this film in which he plays a tribal. Catherine Tresa has played the female lead. Murugadoss, Super Subbarayan, Deepraj Rana, Raja Simhan, Y.G.Mahendran, Ethiraj and many others in supporting characters.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has rendered the music score. Cinematography is by S.R.Sathish Kumar. Editing has been taken care by Dev. Dhilip Subbarayan has designed the Stunt choreography. Yuga Bharathi has penned the lyrics for all the songs.

Speaking about the film, Raghava who has also penned the script and dialogues for 'Kadamban' ,said "This film will be a artistic take on the lives of people living on a hill. Arya has worked sincerely hard in this film. While shooting now one escaped the bites of insects and bugs. The film's core plot is about the life of people extracting honey from the trees on the hills."
