Status update on Arya's delayed period film

In 2015, the movie 'Santhana Devan' was announced by Ameer starring himself, Arya, Arya's brother Sathya in the lead roles with Kruthika Jayakumar as the leading lady. The film that was progressing fast has now been stalled. Director Ameer has clarified that the budget of the film is huge and the story also involves the periods of 1965, 1985 and 2017 and that is why he has planned it in phases. Right now the 65 portions are complete after 45 days of shooting.
Ameer has shared that 'Santhana Devan' story demands a long production period and will take many more months to complete. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja , cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by S.P. Ahmed.
Arya meanwhile is the star of the reality show 'Enga Veeti Maappillai' in which he is expected to choose his future bride and his next movie release will be the comedy 'Ghajinikanth' in which he is romancing Sayyeshaa.
