After giving a spellbinding performance as Sidharth Abhimanyu in last year's critically acclaimed blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan', actor Arvind Swamy has completed shooting for the Hindi flick 'Dear Dad'. He is presently shooting for Jayam Ravi-Hansika starrer 'Bogan' in which he reportedly plays the role of a sage. He will also be acting in the Telugu remake of 'Thani Oruvan', reprising the same role he played in the original.

Now the actor who made his acting debut in director Mani Ratnam's 1991 super hit 'Thalapathy', has recently expressed his wish to venture into a new dimension of film industry. Yes the actor has decided to direct a film within an year from now. It will be either a Tamil film or an Hindi film. He has also penned two scripts and will be selecting one of them, for his debut directorial.
