Actor Arvind Swamy's new Tamil film directed by Selva has been launched with a formal pooja today. Though the film has been referred to as 'Vanangamudi' so far, the makers it seems are yet to finalise the title.

The official announcement about the commencement of the project does not mention the title.

Apart from that actor Daniel Balaji who had signed up to play the negative role in the film has apparently walked out of the project due to date clash with his other Tamil film 'Ippadai Vellum' starring Udhayanidhi Stalin.

As announced earlier. Rithika Singh is the heroine of the film. Nanditha Shweta, plays an important role. The supporting cast includes Thamabi Ramaiah, Chandini, Hasini, Harish Uthaman, Raj Kapoor, Naaki Needu, Ramesh Pandit and OAK Sundar.

Gokl will take care of cinematography while D.Imman will render the music score. Antony is the editor of this flick. Siva Yadav will be the Art director.

The film is being bankrolled by Magic Box Films banner.
