Numerous supporters of Vishal were in for a great deal of shock and disappointment when the actor’s nomination for contesting the R.K.Nagar by-polls was rejected not once, but twice. Upon rejecting the nomination for the first time, officials pointed that two of the ten proposer signatures were forged.

However, a while later Vishal was iin talks with the official alongh with an audio proof saying that the said two propsers were threatened by AIADMK aides. Nomination was taken but again rejected citing the lack of veracity in the audio proof. However Vishal has vouched to support an independant candidate to win the polls.

Arvind Swamy took to his social page to show his support for the actor. Stating that it was logically not difficult to get ten people as proposers, Arvind Swami opined that it was unlikely for them to approach EC with an objection within 24 hours. The actor also hinted that this was indeed planned to thwart Vishal as evident from his hashtag #gamespeopleplay.
