The Tamil film industry has come to a complete halt owing to the ongoing strike by the producers council. Since March 1st there have been no new releases with all film related works in a complete standstill. While many members of the film fraternity have been voicing out for the issue, Arvind Swamy feels that there seems to be no progress in terms and negotiations.
While noting that thousands are affected by the strike, Arvind Swamy also stated that he was getting tired of the strike and wanted to go back to work. “I just hope everyone can get back to working soon and making movies. Thousands affected, need quick resolutions,” he said.
Here’s his tweet below:
To be honest, I am kind of getting tired of this strike. Want to get back to work. Have no idea of the progress made in the terms put forward or the negotiations . I just hope everyone can get back to working soon and making movies. Thousands affected, need quick resolutions.
