Actor Arvind Swami who had last appeared in the Maniratnam directorial Chekka Chivantha vaanam as gangster Varathan, is currently a part of a number of movies like Santhosh Jayakumar's Pulanaivu, Selva's Vanangamudi, Kallapart, Sathuranga Vettai 2 and few more movies.
The actor has now become a part of another big project. Arvind Swami has been roped in to lend his voice for the character Scar in the Tamil version of the upcoming Disney movie The Lion King. It must be noted that, Arvind Swami had given his voice for the lead character Simba, 25 years back in the animated version of The Lion King.
Arvind Swami announced the news, with his tweet "Last time it was Simba, this time we chose Scar.. had a lot of fun doing it. Hope u guys like it".Earlier, it was announced that actor Siddharth will be dubbing for Simba in the Tamil version. The Lion King is releasing in India on July 19.
