Arvind Swamy who debuted in Mani Ratnam's 'Thalapathy' went onto create a unique identity for himself in the Tamil film space. Even after a hiatus in acting Arvind Samy has been able to attract a huge following with his out of the norm roles in his recent outings.

Interestingly, Arvind Samy has expressed interest to direct a film in the coming year of 2018. In an online chat session with fans, the actor has stated that his entry as a director will be as intriguing as unexpected.

Moreover, the 'Thani Oruvan' actor also stated that the only difference between Tamil and other language films was just that : language. The actor also pointed his father to be his source of inspiration to whom he owes his success.

Arvind Samy's philosophical side was also a little visible as he stated that the things between birth and death weren't worth remembering.

However, fans are eager to see Arvind donning the director's hat very soon.
