‘Aruvi’ directed by Arun Prabhu Purushothaman has already become the talk of the down with its striking posters. The film which is touted to be a social drama is directed by Arun Prabu Purushothaman and features Aditi Balan in the lead role.

With the film already having garnered critical acclaim in international film festivals, the makers released the official teaser this evening. 
 
The 72 second avant-garde teaser astonishes you right off the bat with its striking visuals and cuts. The teaser hints at plotline that may revolve around a soft girl who becomes hardened by a restless political and social scenario.

The teaser seems to pack it all, yet leaves one with a disturbing curiosity to know how and what the film might be. The teaser’s heavy weightage surrounding the female lead suggests a powerful movie that will also speak up for the women in the society.

Aditi Balan promises a stellar performance, especially in the shot where she overlaps a taunting ‘Kai vai paapom’ in a menacing soft diction. The film’s music score has been composed by Bindhu Malini and Vedanth Bharadwaj.

Shelley Calist is the lensman while Raymond Derrick Crasta has edited the movie. Bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, ‘Aruvi’ is set to hit the screens on December 1.
