'Aruvi' begins an impressive box office innings

Arun Prabhu Purushothaman's internationally acclaimed 'Aruvi' released last Friday to an astounding positve reception by critics, media and the general audience. Word of mouth and social media has helped in the postive press that the film is basking in.
'Aruvi' saw a theatre presence of 95 % which is commendable for a film with fresh ensemble cast. Last weekend, the film was screened in 16 theatres with 132 shows and has reaped in earnings of Rs.59,21,528 at the box office considering the film's small budget.
