Arunraja Kamaraj who started his career as a comedian and later proved is talent in lyric writing and singing turned director with the critically acclaimed super hit film 'Kanaa'.  The sports drama was produced by his long time friend Sivakarthikeyan who also played a crucial role while Aishwarya Rajesh played the lead role of a female crickterer.

Arunraja was married to Sindhuja since 2014 but in May 2021 his wife passed away after contracting COVID 19.  The devastated filmmaker took a long time to recover from the shock but managed to complete his second film 'Nenjukku Needhi' which also recieved critical praise.  In several subsequent interviews the talented filmmaker credited his late wife for his success and paid tributes to her regularly during her birthdays and other occassions.

It is now reported that Arunraja Kamaraj has remarried and the private wedding happenned on October 28th with only very close family members and friends in attendence.  Sources say that once the multifaceted entertainer is back in Chennai from his native place he will be announcing the good news.
