Actor Arun Vijay had last year achieved his dream of starring in a movie directed by ace director Maniratnam, as he was seen playing one of the 3 brothers in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and made his presence felt with his suave and scheming role Thyagu.

Next, the actor has joined hands with Magizh Thirumeni, who had given him one of his career defining movies Thadaiyara Thaakka, with the crime thriller Thadam. The movie produced by Red Han entertainment Inder Kumar was earlier announced as a February 22 release.

However, now it has been revealed that Thadam won't be releasing on February 22, but has been pushed to March. Thadam will have Arun Vijay in dual roles, and will also star Vidya Pradeep, Tanya Hope and Smruthi Venkat as the female leads. Arun Vijay also has Agni Siragugal and Boxer in various stages of filming.
