Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Arun Vijay starrer Thadam, also starring debutant Tanya Hope, Vidya Pradeep, Smruthi Venkat, Fefsi Vijayan and Yogi Babu is one of the biggest hits of the year so far, and had emerged successful among the multiple releases on March 1.

Starring Arun Vijay in dual roles for the first time in his career, Thadam was an investigative thriller involving a murder and two identical persons suspected to have committed the crime, with cops investigating to identify the real killer. The movie marked the second collaboration of Arun Vijay and Magizh after Thadaiyara Thakka and was received well by audience.

Thadam has today completed the milestone of 50 days theatrical run, and reportedly satellite rights of the movie have been acquired by Sun Network for a massive price. Arun Vijay has a number of exciting projects lined up next, while Magizh is expected to work with Udhayanidhi, Jayam Ravi and Arun Vijay again in the coming years.
