Actor Vijay had played a suave and scheming businessman and wannabe gangster in Maniratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and is all set to be seen next on screen in dual roles for the first time in his career, in Thadam, his second collaboration with Magizh Thirumeni after Thadaiyara Thaakka.

The actor has a number of interesting projects like Boxer directed by debutant Vivek and costarring Ritika Singh, Saaho costarring Prabhudeva and Agni Siragugal directed by Moodar Koodam fame Naveen, costarring Vijay Antony. Now, the actor has bagged another interesting project.

After Kuttram 23, Arun Vijay will be seen playing a cop again in his next movie, and this yet to be titled venture will be directed by Gopi, a former associate of director Kannan. This action thriller will also have technicians from Hollywood involved, and the shoot of this movie begins this summer.
