Actor Arun Vijay has been on a successful phase of his career, with back to back hits - Kuttram 23, the Maniratnam directorial mega multistarrer movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and this year's thriller hit Thadam directed by Magizh Thirumeni and now the actor is all set to begin his next.

Arun Vijay, who is working on several projects like Agni Siragugal costarring Vijay Antony and directed by Naveen, Saaho in Telugu with Prabhas, to name a few, is all set to begin works on his next Tamil project titled as Boxer. The movie will have Arun Vijay as a boxer and the actor has started preparations for the movie.

Arun Vijay set off to Vietnam to train in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for the movie. The actor will be training at Lienphong Martial center. Directed by debutant Vivek, Boxer will have real boxer Ritika Singh as the female lead in the role of a sports journalist and the movie has music by Leon James.
