'Kuttram 23' second weekend performance proves it is a genuine hit

A film's real success will reflect in its performance in the subsequent weeks rather than in its opening figures. That way Arun Vijay's 'Kuttram 23' which opened to positive reviews on March 3, 2017 has achieved the hit status.
From the box office collections registered by the film in its second weekend in Chennai we could vouch this fact. Not to be forget that this week saw three new Tamil film releases, one among which has got phenomenal positive reviews which is;Maanagaram' and a biggie 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva'.
'Kuttram 23' was retained in 12 screens and had 121 shows screened in three days. The average theater occupancy has been 85% which is a great deal. With this the Arivazhagan directorial has collected Rs.24,14,920. the total collections of the film in Chennai stands at Rs.1,22,41,648.
The trade calls it a satisfactory performance for a film in its second week and the film has been already declared as a Hit.
