Arun Vijay teamed up with director AL Vijay for his next film and their project was officially announced last week with a glimpse video. Titled 'Achcham Enbathu Illaye', the movie also stars Amy Jackson and Nimisha Sajayan.

The team started the shooting in London in September and is planning to kickstart the next schedule in November. Meanwhile, Arun Vijay took to his social media handles on Wednesday to inform that he got injured while shooting for the film and is on his way to recovery. From his post, it is known that the actor has been working out hard to get back on his feet in time for the shoot next month.

Sharing photos of himself working out in the gym with a knee pad in his leg, the actor wrote, "It's quite frustrating when ur not able to give ur 100%!! Injured my knee during #AchamEnbathuIllayae shoot!! Got to get back with my full strength.." (sic). A source said, “AL Vijay could think of Arun Vijay when he finalised the story as he is not only a terrific performer but also physically agile. Since this is an out-and-out action film, the actor was a perfect fit.”

The action thriller is produced by Rajasekhar and Swathi under the banner Shri Shirdi Sai Movies. 'Achcham Enbadhu Illaye' has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The shooting is in progress and a mid-2023 release is eyed by the team.
