Whenever the announcement of a Bala film comes there is always a huge expectation among fans as to what different getup he will design for his heroes. In 2022 'Vanangaan' was announced with Suriya and Krithi Shetty as the lead pair but the project was dropped after 40 days of shooting. Suriya who also served as producer for the film parted way amicably and wished Bala the very best in continuing the project.

After prepping for a few months Bala started shooting for the new 'Vanangaan' from March 9th with Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash replacing Suriya and Krithi Shetty respectively. The shoot will continue in Kanyakumar district for the next month or so where major portions will be canned.

Meanwhile a photo of Arun Vijay in a rugged look reminiscent of a typical Bala hero has gone viral on the internet. The action hero is seen walking from his caravan to the sets and his fans are super excited. The film has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and the first look is expected in a few week's time.
