The highly talented Arun Vijay after a long struggle tasted solid success with 'Thadam' directed by Magizh Tirumeni in which he brilliantly portrayed the characters of twin brothers hoodwinking the law.  In spite of the 'Mafia' fiasco he has a number of films lined up next including 'Agni Siragugal' directed by Naveen, 'Sinam' and 'Zindaabad' apart from talks with Mysskin for a new project as well.

Mathi the producer of one of Arun Vijay's pending projects 'Boxer' yesterday gave an interview in which he stated that he is playing the main antagonist role replacing Anurag Kashyap the initial choice for the role.  He also revealed that  there would be three getups for Arun Vijay and he has already shot in a bulked-up look and needs to further beef up again for sixty days to shoot the rest of the portions.  Further there was an announcement from Sri Thenandal Studios that an update is coming this evening at 5pm.

Arun Vijay took to Twitter and has clarified that even though he has worked hard to prepare for his role in 'Boxer' he has not yet commenced full-fledged shooting.   He further added that if things have to move ahead there should be clarity from the production house.  The hardworking star has asked his fans to wait for any official update regarding the film only from his side.  AV also posted a stunning pic of himself as MMA exponent as a bonus to his hardcore fans.

'Boxer' directed by Vivek has Ritika Singh and Sanjjana Galrani in the cast with Leon James scoring the music, and Marcus handling the camera.
