The latest shocking news about this famous director is that he has contracted Covid recently and has tested positive in the US. Taking to his Facebook page he wrote," I went to Khumb Mela, Did a shoot for 28 days with 160 ppl on sets....went to Varanasi and Bodh Gaya....but once I came to the US, I tested positive. Covid is like a masala film - No logic!"
Though he has made a hilarious joke out of it, many of his fans and the film crew are in great shock and are filling the comments section with "get well soon" messages. His last film Nibunan was a great success. The film had, Arjun Sarja, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Prasanna, Sruthi Hariharan, Vaibhav Reddy, Suhasini Maniratnam and Suman.
He recently opened up about doing a children's film and said," I’ve been thinking of doing a film for kids for some time... something that talks about the world of kids. If you see children’s movies made in Hollywood, like Home Alone or Baby’s Day Out, they are films that even adults can enjoy. This film, too, is aimed at the child in each and every one of us". The film fraternity and the film crew is praying for his speedy recovery.
